Join us

Dragon boating is a unique water sport, sometimes challenging, but also a lot of fun. Whether competing in one of the BDA league races, or at a charity event, you will experience an adrenaline rush from the fast and frantic start to that feel good feeling as you cross the finishing line, hopefully in first position.

If you are tempted to have a go at Dragon Boating why not contact us by completing the enquiry form. We will then reply to let you know when we are next meeting and to confirm your availability.

Alternatively, you can register with Colenorton to be kept informed of future open days and events using the tab at the top of this site.

The first 3 Dragon Boat sessions are free and without obligation to join, although of course we hope that you will be bitten by the Dragon and become a member of the team!

Colenorton Dragons

The Colenorton Dragons team have an accomplished history. Originally formed way back in 1992, when the sport of "Dragon Boating" was still growing in Great Britain, Colenorton enjoyed a great deal of success within the championship leagues, both here and abroad.

In fact, Colenorton even has two trophies named after the club that are highly sought after by the teams that compete in the championship league.

Bray Lake Watersports

Bray Lakes has been the home of Colenorton Dragons since 2010 and we have to say, it is a wonderful home! We not only have the advantage of being able to paddle all year round, but close by we also have access to the river network and therefore, can go further afield if we feel so inclined.

Bray Lake Watersports, hosts a number of other activities besides Dragon Boating that you may be interested in, from board paddling and windsurfing to open water swimmimg and bungee jumping.
